  4. Membership is granted once and is valid for the duration of study or employment at the college.

Library Usage Policy

  1. Single-copy resources may only be used in the reading room and cannot be checked out.

  2. Resources with multiple copies can be borrowed from the library.

  3. Resources are issued for a period of five working days. Upon expiration, the resource must be returned. If needed, it may be renewed for an additional five days, provided no other request has been made for it.

  4. If the return deadline is missed, the reader must notify the librarian. If the reason is not deemed valid, the reader must return the resource within two days. A fine of 3 GEL per day will be charged for each overdue day thereafter.

  5. If a resource is lost or damaged beyond use, the reader must replace it with an identical item or compensate for the damage within one day.

  6. A resource may be renewed a maximum of two times.

  7. In exceptional cases, and with approval from the College Director, the librarian has the right to refuse lending resources to individuals who have previously violated library rules or the code of conduct.

  8. Electronic resources stored on the library computer or other digital media can be sent to the reader’s email upon request or provided on a CD for one day.
