Individuals wishing to register must fill out a reader’s card available in the library. The following information must be provided: name, surname, date of birth, position, contact information, signatures of the reader and the librarian.
The reader's card is kept in the library and records the inventory number, title, author, check-out and return date of each borrowed resource.
Library membership is free of charge for students and staff.
Membership is granted once and remains valid for the duration of study or employment at the college.
Library Use Policy
Resources of which the library holds only one copy are not available for borrowing. Such resources may be used only in the reading room.
Users may borrow resources only if multiple copies are available.
Resources are issued for five working days. After this period, the user must return the material. If the user still needs the resource and no other request has been made for it, the loan may be renewed for another five working days.
If the return deadline is missed, the user must notify the librarian. If the reason is not deemed valid, the user must return the resource within two days. Failure to do so will result in a fine of 3 GEL for each additional day.
In case of loss or irreparable damage to the resource, the user must, within one day, either replace it with the same item or compensate the loss.
A loan period may be extended only twice.
In special cases, the librarian, with the consent of the college director, has the right to deny borrowing privileges to individuals who have previously violated library usage or conduct rules.
Electronic resources stored on library computers or other digital carriers may be emailed to the user or provided on a CD for one day, upon request.
