On October 10–11, Zugdidi became a space for collegial development and experience sharing among private colleges.
On October 10–11, the SKKA Private Colleges Association organized the 2nd collegial visit on the topic “Human Resource Management and Development,” hosted by the Public College “Zugdidi Academy” and College “Tskhum-Egrisi.”
Three employees from Marneuli College participated in the event, along with around 50 representatives from 18 colleges across the country.
The colleges presented successful practices — using internships for staff recruitment, recognizing professional qualifications for employment within the college, mechanisms for internal promotion, and staff evaluation systems. Within the framework of the event, valuable recommendations were developed for the association’s member colleges, and measures were planned to ensure institutional sustainability. During the sessions, topics such as organizational structure management, staff development policies, and modern approaches to professional growth were discussed.
The discussions clearly demonstrated that private colleges have made significant progress and are now showing positive results both in governance and in overall quality development. The association’s collegial format once again confirms that cooperation and knowledge-sharing are the key foundations for the development of the vocational education system.
We express our gratitude to all participating colleges, the hosts, and the members of the association’s team for this fruitful event.
